In reality, every webpage needs to have a minimum of 300 words on it. That’s 300 words of actual text; not pictures with text on them - that doesn’t count.

Now, if you don’t want to ruin the look of your beautiful webpage with all those old-fashioned words, you could always stick them down near the bottom. You would be surprised by how few people ever scroll to the bottom of your page. You can get software that does something called heatmapping - it shows you where people are looking and clicking on your page. If you’ve spent any amount of time working on something pretty that appears “below the fold” (low enough down the page that people need to scroll to see it) then you’ll be devastated to see how few people even know it’s there.
